Rich Merritt, author of "Secrets of a Gay Marine Porn Star," was at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeeshop to read excerpts from his latest work, his first novel, "Code of Conduct." Described as "a deeply compelling exploration of the power of loyalty--to friends, lovers, country, and the unwavering dictates of our own hearts," after listening to the author speak on his own experiences it was easy to relate to him. Most customers who got their copies autographed were thrilled to spend a few moments sitting with Mr. Merritt and take time to actually learn more about the author. There's a connection with "Elton" that I won't give away here, but it made for some very surprised moments. Enjoy!
